Others like the Papo and Schleich dinosaur figures are extremely detailed and become part of adult collections. These are almost indestructible and very affordable so they make great dinosaur toys for kids too. Some adults actually feel they are too good to be banged around by kids but hopefully they will get over that.
We will continue to be fascinated with dinosaurs and of course toy dinosaurs . It seems to be a timeless obsession that starts around 5 years of age and can last a lifetime. Toy dinosaurs have certainly come a long way since I was a child. With advances in technology there are now interactive dinosaur toys.
I remember when remote controlled dinosaurs still had a cord and battery pack attached to them and could only go forward or backward. Now they are voice activated and you can teach them tricks. One thing that hasn’t changed is our desire to want to know more about these amazing creatures and fantasize about them. Of course this makes us want to play with them too.
